INDOOR FARMING Teach students about the fastest growing industry in the world!
This is where the future jobs are. We start a fire....by providing you with your curriculum, your classroom, your way!
Aquaponics in the classroom, is mimicking nature and creating a wholesome, organic ecosystem, that uses 10% the water of conventional farming yet produces 10X times the produce on the same square meter of space as a convential farms, 24/365 days a year thereby reducing our environmental footprint and lowering carbon emmissions by eliminattion the transportation of the average Canadian dinner by 6,500 kilometers (your dinner was fertilized, grown and transported by burning fossil fuels).
This talk involving elements of the history, commercial agriculture and indigenous history of Aquaponics as well as the historical and inevitable collapse of all agrarian societies.
Involving plant science, fish biology, math, chemistry, environment and raising fish and plants together indoors for organic food security from a 24/7 365, classroom-based, food production system that mimics nature in a sustainable way.
EDU-taining your way, in the context of the learners life, rather than just offering content. A focus on the art of storytelling to become more compelling entertainment than Facebook; so that our students want to set their phones down and engage their eyes, ears and hands in the lesson. Comes with curriculum and equipment if requested.
We supply the easy to use curriculum, powerpoints and instructors manual for aquaponics with a parts list and diagram for your own Aquaponics classroom project.
Target Audience: Targeted at the risk takers, the restless agents of change and those willing to disrupt the current trajectory of environmental abuse, industrial agriculture and grow the localvore, organic, food-security movement. If we truly are the ancestors of the future...please join us in the most noble cause that we collectively ever face...how to save our little blue spaceship called earth by changing the way we feed 7 billion people. Come join us as we disrupt the the world order; one classroom at a time.
