This session presents best practice strategies for introducing letters and sounds  so even our at-risk students internalize these foundation skills.  Areas covered include picture mnemonics, emphasizing sounds and lower case letters, order of presentation, phonological awareness and printing skills.  Teachers will have strategies they can implement immediately.  

Target Audience:  K, Grade 1, Learning Assistance
